In the last year, Advance Family Planning (AFP)’s adaptability was put to the test, but against the backdrop of an uncertain environment, AFP elevated family planning as an essential service. Concentrating on funding and policy results, tracking sustainability, and documentation AFP continued to drive progress in our seven focus countries in Africa and Asia, and the Francophone West Africa region. In 2020, AFP increased financial resources and policy wins for family planning, building on our strength and adaptability while supporting durable local ownership of advocacy.
