Join the Global Reproductive Health Movement at ICFP 2025!

Sep 10, 2025

The William H. Gates Sr. Institute for Population and Reproductive Health (WHGI), together with our co-hosts—the Government of Colombia, Profamilia, and Fundación Valle del Lili—announces that registration for the 2025 International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP) is open through 27 October at 11:59 p.m. ET. Join us in Bogotá, Colombia, or virtually from 1–6 November 2025 to be part of this transformative gathering.

ICFP 2025 marks the seventh edition of this global conference. Since its inception in 2009, ICFP has brought together advocates, researchers, policymakers, donors, and youth leaders from around the world. Past conferences have been hosted in countries including Uganda, Indonesia, South Africa, and Kenya, establishing ICFP as the world’s largest convening on family planning and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). Throughout its long history, ICFP has been organized by WHGI, reflecting our commitment to advancing SRHR globally.

For the first time in the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region, ICFP will unite advocates, researchers, policymakers, donors, and youth leaders under the theme: Equity Through Action: Advancing Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights for All.

ICFP is more than a conference—it’s a community, a movement, and a platform. Now more than ever, it is essential for forging bold, collaborative paths forward in SRHR worldwide. As a year-round platform of WHGI, ICFP amplifies innovation, drives collaboration, and builds momentum toward equity for all.

ICFP 2025 offers flexible participation options to reach audiences everywhere:

  • In-person or virtual paid registration provides full access to all scientific content, including plenaries, technical sessions, and abstract-driven presentations.

  • Free virtual registration opens key conversations and critical resources to everyone, anywhere in the world—helping advance SRHR for all.

Together with our co-hosts, WHGI looks forward to welcoming thousands of participants—both in Bogotá and online—to engage, learn, and take action to shape the future of SRHR.

👉 Register by 27 October to secure your spot at ICFP 2025:
