Carolyn is the Financial Director of the Gates institute, where she led the finance team since 2022. Carolyn has worked for the University for over thirteen years within finance and administration and joined the Gates family in 2017.
Carolyn received her MBA through Marylhurst University. Prior to joining Gates, Carolyn worked on the University and Health Systems finance team in onboarding the ERP Epic system, adding All Children’s Hospital to the JH system, and Urban Education work at the School of Education.
In her private life, she is an amateur genealogist and previously worked within Baltimore City Public Schools and social justice organizations within Baltimore.
