International Conference on Family Planning
The International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP) is the world’s largest scientific conference on family planning and reproductive health. Since the first ICFP in Kampala, Uganda in 2009, ICFP has served as a strategic inflection point for the global reproductive health community, providing a global stage for countries, organizations, and individuals to make important commitments and celebrate achievements. ICFP has demonstrated the power of community in sharing research, best practices, and advocacy wins; advancing the goals of family planning and sexual and reproductive health and rights; and highlighting the importance of continued collaboration and engagement to achieve these goals.

A global platform from which countries, local governments, organizations, and individuals can make public commitments to family planning and can be recognized for their achievements. Dozens of side events are organized around the conference by the hundreds of attending institutions and organizations from around the world.
Platform
A movement towards universal access to family planning services and contraception. For nearly 12 years, the ICFP community has worked together to move family planning and reproductive health priorities to the center of development.
Community
A community of advocates, political leaders, scientists, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, faith leaders, and youth leaders exchanging ideas and working together to innovate and progress family planning programming, advocacy, and research.

Connected Global Program
The Policy, Advocacy, and Community-building Global Program prioritizes country-led collaborations to promote evidence-based policies and programs. We recognize the critical importance of continually exchanging best practices, generating new ideas, and collaborating on strategies to advance SRHR and gender equity. The International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP) is a critical juncture for catalyzing evidence-based action and serves as a model for meaningful participation and collaboration between multiple stakeholders working on access to reproductive health services for all.
