Molly Moesner

Communications Associate

Molly Moesner leads multimedia communications and digital strategy for the William H. Gates Sr. Institute for Population and Reproductive Health (WHGI) at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (BSPH). She owns end-to-end video production and drives integrated communications that translate complex global health work into compelling, audience-centered content. As brand steward, she oversees WHGI’s digital ecosystem—including websites, newsletters, and social media—ensuring a cohesive, high-impact presence across platforms.

A central leader of the International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP), Molly plays a key role in shaping and delivering one of the world’s largest convenings in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). As a member of the Secretariat and Co-chair of the Communications Subcommittee, she drives global engagement strategies and leads communications planning for the biennial conference, hosted globally in Uganda, Senegal, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Rwanda, Thailand, and Colombia, and its broader platform.

Molly is also Co-founder of the Family Planning News Network (FPNN), a global SRHR media initiative focused on elevating locally led solutions. She leads the production of video and digital content in collaboration with journalists, partners, and content creators worldwide—amplifying underreported stories, strengthening visibility for community-driven work, and influencing global narratives around equitable, locally grounded solutions.

Previously, she supported strategic communications, content development, and media relations for international NGOs in Washington, DC.
