From the Institute’s Director

Gates Institute has historically played a leadership role in filling critical gaps in science and generating new evidence. We work with country partners to utilize a range of research techniques – including implementation science and other innovative methods.

Gates Institute is proud to showcase its latest research at #PAA2023 and look forward to engaging in powerful conversations. In addition to hosting a community-driven Power Shifting discussion, Performance Monitoring for Action (PMA), will be presenting at 15 sessions. Sessions use PMA data to address topics in fertility preferences, desires, and intentions; FP access and quality; contraception and abortion in adolescence; and more.

As a leader in global health research, Gates Institute works closely with country partners to generate new evidence for real-time tracking, decision-making, and accountability. Our groundbreaking research is informing global health policy and programming around the world.

This week, we continue our tradition of presenting cutting-edge research at the Population Association of America Annual Meeting. Learn more about our research and data monitoring initiatives and activities below.
