Strengthening the Global FP Partnership

Apr 7, 2022

Last week the FP2030 global partnership announced the locations of its first-ever regional hubs for Africa in Nairobi and Abuja. We congratulate FP2030 and its partners on the launch of these hubs which are a critical next step in the evolution of the #FP2030Partnership, strengthening the family planning network across Africa and the world.

We look forward to future opportunities to expand and connect the family planning and reproductive health community in innovative ways. According to the announcement, five regional hubs will coordinate and support country-specific activities, while remaining connected to the global family planning community.

The 2022 International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP) is slated to host an FP2030 Regional Hub Celebration during the conference as all regional hubs are expected to be operational before the conference – and we look forward to celebrating with you there.

See what’s coming next for the Gates Institute from Advance Family Planning, Performance Monitoring for Action, The Challenge Initiative, 120 Under 40: The Next Generation of Family Planning Leaders, Demographic Dividend, and the International Conference on Family Planning.
