Molly Moesner
Communications AssociateAs Multimedia Producer, Molly Moesner oversees print, video, and digital initiatives at the William H. Gates Sr. Institute for Population and Reproductive Health (WHGI) at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She leads in-house video production, develops and implements communications strategy, and manages WHGI’s brand and digital channels, including websites, newsletters, and social media, ensuring a cohesive and engaging presence across platforms.
She is a central leader of the International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP) and a key force behind its success. As a member of the Secretariat and Co-Chair of the Communications Subcommittee, she drives high-impact engagement strategies for a global audience of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) experts. She plays an essential role in shaping, planning, and delivering the ICFP biennial conference and its broader platform.
She is also the Co-Founder of the Family Planning News Network (FPNN), a global SRHR media network focused on elevating locally led solutions. Through FPNN, she oversees the creation of compelling video and digital content and collaborates closely with partners, journalists, and influencers worldwide. Her work amplifies underreported SRHR stories, strengthens visibility for community-driven initiatives, influences media narratives, and catalyzes attention, engagement, and action around equitable, locally grounded solutions.
Previously, she supported strategic communications, content development, and media relations for prominent international non-governmental organizations in Washington, DC. She holds a bachelor’s degree in media production from the University of Dayton and continues to advance her expertise through executive education at Johns Hopkins University.
