Beth has played an integral part in charting the course of the Institute since 2009, leading the 14-year $98.5 million Advance Family Planning advocacy initiative first as Deputy Director until 2012 and then as Executive Director from 2012-2024. Beth also serves as a Senior Associate at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in the Department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health where she continues to develop and champion the SMART Advocacy approach.
Prior to joining WHGI, Beth’s illustrious career included institutions such as the International Women’s Health Coalition, Guttmacher Institute, Harvard University, and New York University, which has positioned her as a thought leader in the field of family planning and reproductive health.
