Rosemary Komolafe

Graduate Research Assistant

Rosemary is a physician with a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from Johns Hopkins University, where she concentrated in Women’s & Reproductive Health and was recognized as a Dean’s Scholar for academic excellence. During her MPH, she focused on Gender and Health as well as Maternal and Child Health, bringing a combined clinical and public health lens to improving health outcomes for women and marginalized communities through research, program design, and policy advocacy.

She brings this combined lens to her work as a Graduate Research Assistant at the William H. Gates Sr. Institute for Population and Reproductive Health, where she supports stakeholder engagement and strategic programming for global initiatives, including the International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP).

At the Gates Institute, Rosemary leverages her experience in program strategy, research, and resource mobilization to build meaningful relationships and engage sponsors and partners for the ICFP. She supports the International and National Steering Committees of the ICFP and contributes to research that centers stakeholder feedback and measures the impact of the Gates Institute's programs. Rosemary draws on her background in program implementation and advocacy in LMICs to elevate community perspectives in the lead-up to the ICFP.
