In the last year, Advance Family Planning (AFP) focused on shifting advocacy leadership to the South. Concentrating on funding and policy results, sustainability and scale, AFP continued to drive progress in our eight focus countries in Africa and Asia. In 2019, AFP increased financial resources and policy wins for family planning, building on our strength and adaptability while supporting durable local ownership of advocacy.
