Dr. Mauli Mehta is a physician and public health professional specializing in women’s and reproductive health, health systems, and policy. She currently serves as the International Events Manager- Program Specialist at the William H. Gates Sr. Institute for Population and Reproductive Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Mehta holds a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins, along with a certificate in Gender and Health. Her work spans clinical practice, research, and advocacy, with expertise in qualitative and quantitative data analysis, systematic reviews, and policy research. She is particularly passionate about family planning and reproductive health, gender equity, and safe abortion access. She has led initiatives advancing healthcare and gender equity through mentorship, advocacy, and leadership development. Her experience extends across local, national, and global levels, positioning her as an emerging leader in global health. Outside of work, she is a hardcore dog lover and an enthusiastic dance explorer, always eager to try new styles—from salsa to contemporary!
