Abortion bans are fueling a public health crisis.

 The William H. Gates Sr. Institute for Population and Reproductive Health (WHGI) is excited to announce the release of a new advocacy brief, “From Research to Policy Advocacy: Abortion Bans and Public Health.”

This resource was developed from a research symposium held in Washington, DC, in June 2025—hosted collaboratively by the Hopkins Population Center, State Innovation Exchange (SIX), Population Reference Bureau, and WHGI.
