The Family Planning Voices Installation is an interactive space that captures images and stories about the power of family planning.
The Gates Institute developed the Family Planning Voices Installation as a physical expansion of K4Health and FP2020’s Family Planning Voices (#FPVoices) digital storytelling initiative, which seeks to document, through photography and interviews, the stories of individuals working to improve access to family planning around the world.
Visitors to the interactive installation choose from a selection of prompts, share their responses, take photos or video, and publish their thoughts instantly using #FPVoices. Watch the #FPVoices Twitter feed below!
The Family Planning Voices Installation has been made possible by generous support from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation.
The installation debuted at the 2016 International Conference on Family Planning in January 2016.

In May 2016, the FP Voices Installation was at the Women Deliver 2016 Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark.
In September 2016, the installation was featured at a reception for 120 Under 40: The New Generation of Family Planning Leaders at Population Council's office in New York City.
We look forward to taking the installation to future events and meetings of the family planning and reproductive health communities!
